Rat Fink Films, LLC was formed in 2008 and holds rights to all films previously produced for Paracelsus Productions, LLC (now disbanded).
Rat Fink Films, LLC produces independent narrative and documentary films in Austin, TX. We seek to bring together writers, actors and production crew to produce top quality short and feature length films.
If you are a writer with a treatment or a screenplay that you would like to develop please access our “Writer” portal and share your vision. Shoot us your logline, treatment or screenplay and we’ll give you our honest opinion. If we really like it we may work with you to develop it or put you in touch with people who can. We are looking for quality original work in any genre, short or feature length, narrative or documentary.

Rat Fink Films, LLC was founded in 2008 by Jeffrey Michel to replace Paracelsus Productions. LLC (2006-2008) which produced the narrative short “Be Happy” (2006), the documentary short “To Cut is to Cure” (2007), the music video “Million Miles Away” for local Austin band Low Rent (2006) and the TV Pilot “where in the World is my Wife?”
Jeff grew up making animated super 8mm films with a Cannon that he bought at age 12 with money he earned selling refreshments at football games. He studied film at Rice University with Brian Huberman before taking a 16 year hiatus from film making to attend Medical School and ultimately become a practicing Cardiologist in Austin Texas.
Jeff has been a member of the Austin Film Society since 2006.
